From Big Tech to banking, insurance and ESG, corporations are increasingly finding themselves in the cross-hairs of litigators, and the Class Actions Symposium provides the perfect forum for staying ahead of the game. Some of the most eminent names in the field talk strategy, funding, certification, settlement and more, with the first day of the event following the lifecycle of a claim from inception to the disbursement of damages.

In 2023 we will return to London and the grandeur of the 250-year-old Grand Connaught Rooms in Covent Garden, just moments away from the gothic splendour of the Royal Courts of Justice. The UK capital’s seamless melding of the modern and the traditional is in itself a reflection of today’s class action landscape, where modern routes to funding and technological innovation sit alongside longstanding statutes and ancient legal doctrine. We look forward to welcoming you.

Agenda

The agenda has been curated to provide a cross-border overview of the major talking points in collective redress, with a particular focus on process and regulation, including the new EU Directive on Representative Actions.

Day one of the Symposium will take our audience through the lifecycle of a class action. Our speakers will share their experiences from building the class, funding, certification and case management, before moving on to the calculation and payment of damages and settlements.

On the final day, speakers will discuss and debate claims from the fields of competition, the environment, consumer protection, Big Tech, and finance and securities.
